W11 Reflection

This week we focused on a law on understanding and prioritizing a work-life balance. Now, as we look at this from an entrepreneurial background, we can understand that making sure you have good work. Life balance is going to really set your career off and really help you also manage your family dynamics. One thing that really stood out to me was reading through the mini-cases and pondering and kind of making those decisions based on what I would do. One thing that I took away from that is finding a middle ground. And when we talk about a middle ground, we talk about making a compromise and having both parties come to the middle so you can decide on a good situation for yourself and for your family. I also think that finding a middle ground in compromising also comes with good communication. And any situation is going to have a hard decision when you’re trying to bounce both work and home. But I do think that if you can openly communicate and be honest with the different people Working with you upfront, it’s going to be a way better situation than if you try and keep it all in and figure it out without letting anyone know what is going on. This week it was very eye-opening to kinda have a better understanding of what a work-life balance should be like. I tried to take that into my own life where I am working two jobs and in school, but also am in a relationship with my husband and we have a dog to take care of when we have a home to take care of. I need to understand these good qualities so that I can be a better wife. I can be a better student and just be a better person.
