W13 Reflection

This week we were able to learn so much about being grateful I am on the journey to find gratitude. One of my favorite parts about this week's readings and videos was the case study about the making of an entrepreneur. This case study was so inspiring as it talks about Randy’s life and how he reflects on leadership and the risks and rewards that he got to the point where he is now. I really enjoyed it as he talked about his own strengths and weaknesses and now he likes to look at them as they are very successful and how he is grateful for the minds and attitude that he had. He talks a lot about how when you change your mindset you can get more things done, and you can be very successful. And I type that a lot into being grateful and having gratitude. I think that at times we can let ourselves still frustrated because of our weaknesses that we have or the rest that we have to take. But when we switch our mindset and realize that those can be strengths, then that can help us be grateful for ourselves that we do have that strength, and that we can find gratitude in everything around us.

All of the readings were very insightful and inspiring, as I tried to put myself in those situations. I was unable to understand a little bit more about ways that I could learn and the growth that I could have if I truly put myself in that situation and thought of what I would do to make it better or how I could improve. I learn I love learning about how we can become better leaders and what that entails. One of my favorite things that was mentioned in that case study was that being a leader is when you can create something from nothing. Because being a leader doesn’t mean you just get to tell people what to do or that everything is there already for you to be a leader of. Being a leader is being able to take a stand and being able to find something new to create and improve.
