W14 Reflection

I have been able to reflect on this past semester for this entrepreneur class. I have learned so much and have been given great advice, and direction of what I can do to be successful. One thing that I learned the most throughout this semester is to learn how to take risks and learn how to not look back. One of the sections I love the most was about dreaming, big and how that can help us to be able to do the things we want to do. We talked about how when we are given a choice and we are given different challenges if we dream big and rely on ourselves and rely on others to help us then we can make it far in life. I love that this class would go hand-in-hand with all of the gospel teachings from the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We can learn so much from our profits and apostles on becoming and doing better.

This class taught us that we have all the right tools and all the right people in our lives to become more than what we think and to become what we dream of becoming. One other last section we talked about was being grateful and how we can have a grateful heart. We talked about having an attitude of gratitude. But I took away from that is that when we change our mindset, and we look for the things that we are grateful for and all the things that we have we are going to become way more happy and successful because we are looking at all the things we have not all the things we are missing out on. I know that when we change our mindset from that one to the other, we are going to become more happy and be able to become more successful. 

I’ve loved learning about all of these great skills that we can use as an entrepreneur, but also in our personal life. This class has taught us many different things and now we can look back and learn how to celebrate our life and celebrate our success.

W04 Reflection

  This week I love learning and studying about how I can measure my life and what that all means. As we studied more about the different articles, how will you measure your life and the little things are important. I was able to take what that meant for me and what I will take into my life to make my life better that way. One of the things I love from the little things are important is that when we truly do look at the little things in life those are gonna be the things that help us stay on the path. It also talks about creating a strategy for your life and how you want to measure your life. This made me think to create a strategy and a plan on what I wanna do with my life and how I’m going to react. When I have a better attitude and outlook on life, I’m going to be able to get more things done and that’s why I wanna measure. My life is in my positive attitude and also looking at the little things and realizing that, that’s just as important.

W12 Reflection

We can learn a lot from the article  What’s a Business For? When Charles Handy talks about integrity and virtue, he emphasizes that these are crucial skills and attributes to develop when building a business. Integrity and virtue require a great deal of trust, whether between the customer and the business owner or among business partners. When we trust each other and hold one another to high standards, we can truly be successful and accomplish what needs to be done. He also discusses how business is not just for the satisfaction of the business owner or the customer, but for both. He mentions that when you combine the two—serving both the business and the customer—it makes a significant difference and helps create mutual support. One solution he proposes in the article is the concept of long-term versus short-term goals. Handy explains that this distinction provides businesses with a framework to determine which decisions need to be made immediately and which ones can wait longer.

W03 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal

After reflecting on this week, studies readings, and videos. I was able to take away a few different things as we talked about honesty and business ethics one of my favorite things that we talked about this week was the true blue through and through by Sheri L. Dew. I loved all that she said about, learning the virtue of integrity. I think that as we get older and go through more experiences, we realize how important is to have that virtue of integrity and how important is to be honest with ourselves and honest with others around us. One thing that she mentions in her Talk is that living with integrity isn’t always easy, but it is far easier than the consequences that can follow not being honest. And I love that because I think sometimes we can all put ourselves in different situations and we gotta find a way out of it and the way to get out of it is to be honest and if we choose that way, it’s gonna be way less painful way less stressful than if we choose the other way.
